I live in Port Elizabeth situated in the Eastern Cape of South Africa. It is here that I do paintings of African trees, nudes and abstracts. My work varies in style from flat colours with solid outlines to blurred smooth finishes. It depends on my mood the weather and time of day which dictates the direction of my painting. Some paintings reflect and hopefully mirror up to four different moods and weather patterns. Port Elizabeth is known for its wind and this combined with the sea tides of the Indian ocean certainly affects my creations.
